Maple end grain block with maple capping. Finished with food safe mineral oil.
Maple end grain offers a mellow tone and extreme durability. The size of this board makes it an imposing fixture in the centre of a dining table. End grain is self healing due to the open pores and thus shallow knife marks and scratches are much less likely to show. This board is fitted with rubber feet on one side to create a pleasing shadow underneath when serving.
